All individual and group therapy sessions will be held via telehealth. Mindfulness classes for organizations will be held either in person, telehealth, or hybrid depending on location and preference of organization.

I do not take insurance in California. I take insurance in Colorado if you are in-network with Sondermind only. Otherwise, all sessions will be out of pocket. I can provide a superbill to your insurance if requested.

Once you have made contact through the website, you will receive a call to schedule a 15 minute consultation so that I may learn more about what you are looking for and give you the opportunity to ask me any questions and determine if we would like to move forward. If we want to move forward, I will send you a link to an online portal where you can complete necessary paperwork and a clinical questionnaire that speaks to your interest in therapy, history, and goals. This helps me get to know you and allows our first session to be spent more on why you are here than gathering history. In our first session we will clarify goals for therapy, and if using insurance, a diagnosis.

I use a HPPA compliant platform either through Theranest (my online portal), or Psychology today.

Licensing laws state that I can only see clients when they are physically in the states that I am licensed in. Therefore, I can see you in Colorado and California. If you are on vacation or a work trip to a different state, we will need to reschedule.

I do not have 24 hour coverage or back-up. If you are in crisis, you will need to go to your local emergency room, crisis center, or call 911.
