ABOUT
Hello, Iām Tara Bass, LCSW
My life has been a journey of inner and outer exploration. I value listening, trusting and following your heart to live your most authentic life.
As a therapist, meditation practitioner and teacher, I have worked to be of benefit to others through mentoring, empowering, and offering my genuine presence. I walk this path alongside you through exploration, compassion, learning, and growth. As a helping professional I have navigated burn-out, compassion fatigue, harmful working environments and the challenges that arise from person-in-system dynamics. As a fellow human, I have journeyed through personal grief, spiritual exploration, questions of belonging, and loss of heart. These experiences have taught me the importance of creating boundaries, self-compassion, identifying and practicing self-nurturing and seeking social connection and supports. It is from this lens that I engage with you on your therapeutic journey.
My aspiration is to turn challenges into learning and transform our confusion into wisdom. By doing so, we can learn to find contentment in each moment, knowing that all our experiences are an opportunity to connect us to our inherent wisdom.
I have dedicated the last 20 + years of my professional life to helping others. I offer tools, skills, and guidance for personal healing, self-compassion, presence, connection, and clarity. I utilize creativity, collaboration, and safety in all the work I engage in.
Thank you for entrusting me with the personal challenges of your mind and heart.
